Traceability of our Linen

Denis & Di has been putting its expertise in linen spinning to use for its customers for more than ten years. We have the advantage of dealing with foreign-sourced, sustainably farmed materials that were grown utilizing environmentally friendly practices in the Normandy region of France and Europe. In actuality, flax does not require irrigation to grow; all it needs is the maritime environment of that region.

Because of this, we made the decision to go one step further and ensure eco-responsibility to our clients by disclosing our approach in order to satisfy their desire for greater transparency.

It consists of data that may be used to estimate the environmental impact of our yarns as well as traceability certificates. These resources are added to the linen masters, which further enhances our distinctiveness. As a result, the fast production cycle can be supported by every link in the linen manufacturing chain, allowing customers to purchase an entirely transparent product.

Trace our Traceability Tag!

A yarn traceability certificate that allows you to track the origin of our scutched flax yarn that includes where we purchase it. We started developing the technique for weaving linen back in 2005, and one of the first French businesses to spin linen yarn collaborated with us to educate us about the industry. They also had buy-back agreements in place to resell the fabric we made using their yarn.

They are basically scutchers who are aware of the farm from which they obtain the fiber lot and who are supplying us with intricate yarn to fiber traceability. Additionally, we have a signed contract with the farmer who cultivates the specific lot that allows us to use images and information about his farm in advertisements.

Have a look with LCA- Life-Cycle Assessment

We made the decision to analyze the environmental impact of the manufacture of our linen yarn in order to understand it and minimize it.

We made the decision to evaluate the product’s environmental performance using the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) index, a multiple-criteria approach that considers all flows throughout the product’s lifecycle, from raw material production through processing and manufacturing, distribution, and use, to leisure at the end of its useful life.

100% Environment friendly

100% of the sustainable viscose materials we use originate from Lenzing, TENCEL, and ECOVERO. A fiber recognition technique created by Lenzing makes it possible to track the source of the fiber and inhibits counterfeiting.

We can guarantee that no one producing linen in India is able to provide this level of genuine traceability.
